Woodbridge Rt. 9 McDonald's Hosting Backpack Giveaway This Saturday

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — With the start of the school year just around the corner, McDonald’s owner/operator Julio Morgan Gillis will be hosting a back-to-school backpack giveaway at the Woodbridge McDonald’s this Saturday.

This is the McDonald's located at 330 Rt. 9 North and the backpack giveaway will be held this Saturday, August 27.

From 12-2 p.m., local students and their families can stop by the restaurant and receive a backpack stuffed with school supplies, including one pack of crayons, one sharpener, two erasers, one two-pocket folder, one glue stick, one highlighter, one 70-page spiral notebook, three pencils, three pens, one ruler and one pencil case.

Rt. 9 McDonald's will be giving away a total of 200 backpacks to the local community (children must be present to receive a backpack, and there is no purchase necessary to receive one).
