And they just started renting in September.

Reaching more than 80 percent leased in just six months shows there is strong demand to live in Woodbridge, said Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president at Prism Capital Partners, the developer of Avenue & Green.
"Residents are moving in every day, and the sense of community here is exciting," he said. "Add to that a retail component that is really coming together, and the final vision for this property is quickly becoming reality.”

Avenue & Green is at the corner of Rahway Avenue and Green Street. With an in-house gym and pool, it is just steps away from the Woodbridge NJ Transit station.
The developer seeks to attract New York City commuters to relocate to Woodbridge, a working-class, suburban community. Some longtime Woodbridge residents have been critical, saying that high-density apartment buildings like Avenue & Green are making traffic worse, and turning Woodbridge from a town into a city.
No new business tenants have been announced to open on the ground floor — for now, it still remains just Eric LeGrand Coffee House (owned by the Avenel native) and the UPS Store — but additional tenants will be announced "coming soon," promised the developer. Stay tuned.
There are 232 apartments in the building. Monthly rents start at $1,815 for a studio (it was $1,695 when they first opened in September), $2,000 for a one-bedroom (it was $1,895) and $2,695 for a two-bedroom apartment (it was $2,345). These new rents are including current incentives that include up to two months free.
Avenue & Green has:
- A resident lounge with a fireplace, bar area, billiards and a shuffleboard table.
- A state-of-the-art fitness center and kitchen/catering accommodations, adding to the "lifestyle experience."
- A resort-style outdoor pool and landscaped courtyard with private BBQs
- An outdoor dining
- Fire pits
- A film screening area
“Residents are taking full advantage of these gorgeous, inviting indoor amenity spaces,” said Fourniadis. “And with warmer weather just around the corner, we can’t wait to see the grounds come to life as well.”
Nutley-based Prism Capital Partners is the same developer behind Dunellen Station, a mixed-use, transit-oriented apartment community; Wonder Lofts, the industrial-to-multifamily adaptive reuse of the former Wonder Bread factory in Hoboken; and Edison Lofts, the industrial-to-multifamily-and-retail redevelopment of the historic Thomas Edison Invention Factory and Commerce Center in West Orange.
