5 Astoria, LIC Buildings Still Up For Grabs On Affordable Lottery

Dozens of apartments in Western Queens are available through the city's affordable housing lottery β€” though some are pricier than others.

ASTORIA, QUEENS β€” Homes in five different Astoria and Long Island City buildings remain up for grabs through the city's affordable housing lottery β€” though some of the apartments are pricier than others.

Each of the buildings is listed on Housing Connect, the platform where the city gives residents the chance to apply for below-market-rate apartments. Eligible incomes and application deadlines vary for each listing.

  • Eligible incomes: 78,858 - $167,570
  • Household size: 1-5
  • Deadline to apply: Monday, Feb. 28
  • Details: this newly constructed building includes one- and two-bedroom apartments, with amenities including a gym, rooftop terrace, in-unit dishwashers and a shared laundry room.
