ASTORIA, QUEENS — A new Italian gelato spot opened on 23rd Ave over the weekend, extending its second city location to Astoria.
Figo Il Gelato Italiano opened its doors on April 15 at 29-02 23rd Ave., its second location in the city after opening a spot in Nolita.
"We didn’t imagine how many people would come to visit us," the eatery said in a Facebook post. "From the bottom of our hearts, grazie mille and we look forward to serving you for many years to come!"

Flavors at Figo Il Gelato Italiano, which first started as Mo Gelato, include coconut, pistachio, oreo, tiramisu, and others.
The Nolita location is stationed at 178 Mulberry St.
