Bicycling Thief Robs 92-Year-Old In Queens: NYPD
The thief caused the woman to fall to the ground when he biked past her and forcibly snatched her purse, police say.

ASTORIA, QUEENS -- Police are searching for the cyclist who rode his two-wheeled getaway vehicle past a 92-year-old woman and knocked her down while stealing her purse on Saturday.
The elderly woman was walking down 46th Street in Astoria at around 7:30 p.m. when the man biked up behind her and snatched her pocketbook off her arm, police said.
The force knocked the woman to the ground, cutting open her nose, cops said.

Medics sent the woman to Mount Sinai Hospital in Long Island City, where she was treated for the cuts and pain to her left shoulder an arm. She is in stable condition, police said.
The NYPD released surveillance photos on Monday of the man biking away from the woman.
