Joe Coffee Opening Café And Roastery In Long Island City
Joe Coffee is opening a 4,000-square-foot roasting plant and café in Long Island City, its first location in Queens.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Joe Coffee is opening a 4,000-square-foot roasting plant and café Tuesday in Long Island City, its first location in Queens.
The coffee shop chain's new location at 40-37 23rd St. will include a roastery, an 11-seat café and a space for company training, private events and public classes on everything from coffee roasting to latte art, according to a press release.
Joe previously roasted its coffee at the Pulley Collective, a shared roastery in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

The Long Island City café will serve Joe's full menu of hot and cold beverages, Ovenly and Bien Cuit pastries and a menu of single origin coffees exclusive to the Long Island City location. It will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Founded in 2003 by Jonathan Rubinstein, Joe Coffee now has 20 locations citywide with the opening of the Long Island City location.
