Man Gropes Woman At Astoria Subway Station, Police Say
Police are looking for a man accused of reaching under a woman's skirt as she walked down the stairs at an Astoria subway stop.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A man reached under a woman's skirt and groped her as she walked down the stairs at an Astoria subway stop this month, according to police, who released a photo of the suspect.
The 22-year-old victim was walking down the stairs at the 46th Street-Broadway station on the M-R lines just before 2:30 p.m. on Sept, 4 when the unidentified man walked up, police said.
He then reached under her skirt and grabbed her buttocks and genitals before fleeing on foot toward 46th Street, police said.

Police described the suspect as a man last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jeans, black boots and a blue knapsack.
Authorities shared a photo of him and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
