Man Stabbed To Death On Woodside Street, Police Say

A 55-year-old man was stabbed to death on a Woodside street corner early Monday, according to police. No arrests have been made.

The 55-year-old man was stabbed at the corner of 69th Street and Roosevelt Avenue sometime before 2:43 a.m., when police responded to a 911 call reporting the attack, police said.

WOODSIDE, QUEENS — A man was fatally stabbed early Monday on a Woodside street corner, according to police.

The 55-year-old man was stabbed at the corner of 69th Street and Roosevelt Avenue sometime before 2:43 a.m., when police responded to a 911 call reporting the attack, police said.

Police found the victim with a stab wound to the torso. He was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Queens, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The man's name was being withheld pending family notification. Nobody has been arrested, but an investigation is ongoing, police said.

Video posted to the Citizen app showed police cordoning off the southwest corner of the intersection, below the 7 train tracks.
