Medical Clinic To Anchor New Astoria Condo Building
The luxury condo building recently completed in Ditmars now has another tenant besides Lincoln Market: a Northwell Health medical clinic.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — The luxury condominium building under construction in Ditmars has another new tenant: this time, a medical clinic that will occupy its ground floor.
Northwell Health will open up later this year at The Rowan, a 46-unit building that stands complete at 21-31 31st St. The clinic will offer non-ambulatory exams and procedures and is set to open this year after signing a 12-year lease, developer RockFarmer Properties announced Tuesday.
Northwell joins the upscale grocery Lincoln Market, which will take over the other retail space at The Rowan.

Northwell's storefront will span roughly 8,500 square feet, while Lincoln Market's is 16,000 square feet. The medical system already has a presence in the neighborhood, with an urgent care center on Broadway near 37th Street.
"We are excited to have Northwell Health round out the retail at The Rowan,” RockFarmer chief operating officer Kostas Koutsothanasis said in a statement.

"As a leading health care provider in New York City, Northwell Health’s new site will provide a convenient location for local residents to take advantage of."
Since leasing began at The Rowan, it has broken multiple records for the most expensive condominiums ever sold in Astoria.
