Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Brings Care to Long Island City
The new location is the 10th center to open in Queens, expanding access to healthcare across the borough

Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care opened a new center in Long Island City this week, for a total of eight locations in Queens, and 59 in the greater New York City region.
The new center is conveniently located near the Court Square-23rd Street Station at 1 Court Square W., in the same building as Target. It features an award-winning center design, with bold colors, warm wood accents and an open floorplan, the new center fosters a comfortable experience for the whole family.
"Our Long Island City center adds another option for care in the Queens borough, ensuring residents and visitors have convenient access to the healthcare services they need,” said Vivek Taparia, market president of Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care. The new Long Island City center is Northwell Health-GoHealth’s third center to open this year, following openings in Deer Park on Long Island and Forest Hills, also in Queens. Northwell Health-GoHealth is also expected to open in Lake Success later this year, which will be its 60th center to serve the New York City metro area.

Northwell Health-GoHealth treats common non-life-threatening health concerns for adults and children six months and older, including upper respiratory infections, minor cuts, ear infections, treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STI), fractures and more. With onsite X-rays, diagnostic testing and flu vaccines, the Long Island City location makes it easy for busy professionals and families to get the quality care they expect from Northwell Health. The centers are open 365 days a year, including holidays.
Patients can walk into any Northwell Health-GoHealth center for care or save time by saving a spot online and pre-registering before going to their neighborhood center. The new Long Island City center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
