Paris Baguette Opens First Long Island City Storefront
The bakery chain is the first of several eateries to move into a row of Jackson Avenue storefronts near the Court Square subway station.
LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Neighbors looking to buy a pain au chocolat or freshly baked loaf of milk bread now have a new local option.
Paris Baguette, a South Korea-based bakery chain, opened a new location on Jackson Avenue near the Queens Plaza subway station, the bakery announced on social media last Friday.
This storefront marks the bakery's first Long Island City outpost, though it operates over a dozen other locations in Queens, including in nearby Astoria.

Paris Baguette is the first of several eateries that plan to move into a retail space at 27-35 Jackson Avenue, an office building that's undergone recent renovations, the Queens Post reported.
The bakery, which now goes by Paris Baguette Bakery Café instead of Paris Baguette Boulangerie is known for its multinational menu of desserts, cakes, breads, and salads, that draw inspiration from both French and Asian cuisines.
