Events

Community Board 11 will hold its monthly meeting on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of M.S. 158, located at 46-35 Oceania St. The board will discuss site selection for a new school in the district.

Alley Pond Environmental Center will offer its Wee Sprouts and Toddler Time programs on Monday. 

Oakland Little Neck Jewish Center will host a film discussion on "Follow Me: The Story of the Six-Day War" as part of Jerusalem Day on Wednesday.

The Bayside-Whitestone Lions Club will hold its second annual scholarship night on Thursday at Verdi's Restaurant.

P.S. 169's drama club will present "Beauty and the Beast" on Thursday evening.

There will be an introductory chess lesson and open house for P.S. 98's summer chess camp on Thursday.

Announcements 


Mobile service for the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., is currently in service. The library will be closed for a few months to allow for a renovation.
