BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A Bayside street corner is getting a second name to pay tribute to the lives lost in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The northeast corner where Bell Boulevard meets the Horace Harding Expressway will be co-named "Bayside Hills 9/11 Memorial Way," according to the Bayside Hills Civic Association.
City Council Member Barry Grodenchik will join the civic association on Sept. 11 to lead a ceremony at the Bayside Hills Memorial Garden, located across from that corner, to unveil the new name.
