Braunstein Announces Winners of Annual Halloween Contest

Grade school students submitted essays or drawings on a Halloween theme to assemblyman's competition.

State Assemblyman Edward Braunstein, D-Bayside, has announced the winners of his annual Halloween essay and art contest.

Students from grades two through five entered the contest, submitting an essay or drawing on either why they chose a particular Halloween costume this year or relaying a past trick or treat experience.

The second grade prize went to Kevin Lin, who attends Flushing’s P.S. 21, while the third grade award was given to Abigail Stein, who is a student at Little Neck’s P.S. 221.
