The Bayside Historical Society has rescheduled its Civil War reenactment, which was cancelled last weekend due to rain, for May 25.
The event will now run from noon to 3 p.m. at the historical society, which is located 208 Totten Ave. in Fort Totten.
The reenactment will be led by Peter Ridout, who is a member of the 124th New York Volunteers Civil War Reenactment Unit.
The suggested donation for the event is $5.
The reenactment was originally scheduled for last weekend, but was postponed due to weather conditions.
