Community Education Council District 26 Seeks to Fill Slot
Parents with students enrolled in the English Language Learner (ELL) program are encouraged to apply.
Attention, parents: Do you have a child enrolled in the English Language Learner (ELL) program? The District 26 Community Eduction Council has a vacant seat, and they're looking to you to fill it.
What does the job entail? Members of the Community Education Council do the following:
- Promote the achievement of educational standards
- Hold quarterly meetings with PA/PTA officers
- Provide assistance to School Leadership Teams
- Play a role in evaluating the Community Superintendent
- Approve zoning lines submitted by the Community Superintendent
Applications can be obtained from the Parent Coordinator at the school your child attends or at M.S. 74, 61-15 Oceania St., Room 128, in Bayside. The deadline date for submission is Sept. 30.
