BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Police are asking for help finding the hit-and-run driver who struck and seriously injured a pedestrian in Bayside earlier this week.

The NYPD on Friday released surveillance photos of a white 2016-2019 Subaru Crosstrek spotted fleeing the crash scene at 64th Avenue and 223rd Place.

Nabeela Aziz, 47, is unconscious and suffering internal bleeding in her head after the hit-and-run driver struck her about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to police and a CBS2 news report.

She is at North Shore University Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The unidentified driver was on 223rd Place turning left onto 64th Avenue when the driver hit Aziz as she was crossing the intersection, according to a preliminary police investigation.
