Gas Prices Continue To Rise In Little Neck

Gas prices across the country, state and here in Little Neck continued its weeks-long march upwards, with experts in part blaming increased demand for home heating oil in the wake of this week's blizzard in the upper Midwest for the latest increase.

Average gas prices across the city rose 2.7 cents from last week to $2.978 for regular petrol.

Cash-carrying drivers will find the cheapest gas at the Getty station on Northern, with a gallon of regular fetching $3.25 on Monday. 

It's a tie for the cheapest gallon of Premium, pegged at $3.49 at the BP and Gulf stations in Little Neck.
