HELP WANTED: Snow Laborers Needed
Positions to help shovel out the city are available for this winter.

If last weekend's was just a taste of what's to come, the city Department of Sanitation is definitely going to need some help keeping Queens's sidewalks, bus stops and other public spaces clear of snow come winter.
That's where the city's snow laborers come in.
DSNY is currently registering workers who will called upon when a significant snow event occurs. The positions pay $12 an hour for the first 40 hours and $18 thereafter.
