Hit-And-Run Driver Injures Pedestrian In Little Neck: Cops

A pedestrian was injured in Little Neck early Monday after a hit-and-run driver slammed into him as he crossed the street, police said.

LITTLE NECK, QUEENS — A pedestrian was injured in Little Neck early Monday after a hit-and-run driver slammed into him as he crossed the street, police said.

The 40-year-old man was crossing Little Neck Parkway near Nassau Boulevard about midnight Monday when a driver heading north in a light-colored, four-door sedan hit him, according to police.

The driver raced off, and EMS rushed the pedestrian to North Shore University Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police are still looking for the driver responsible for the crash.
