Jan. 24: More Snow?

It was a brilliant, history-making run. But alas, the New York Jets playoff dreams ended last night with a 24-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

However, even for the most die-hard Little Neck fan, life goes on. 

In that enduring spirit, here are the events, announcements and stories on tap for the beginning of the workweek:

1. Later this morning, we have reaction from fans taking in Gang Green's valiant efforts last night at Heinz Field. 

2. Alternate side parking rules have been suspended for another day. And yes, you know the drill: parking meters need to be paid.

3. Brrr! Due to wind chills dropping below minus-10 degrees, the National Weather Service issued this cold-weather advisory. Make sure everyone in your family puts on coats, hats and gloves this morning.

4. Not again. While we're talking weather, forecasters have issued this report warning of possible significant snow accumulations from a Nor'easter Tuesday night into Wednesday.
