Little Neck Week In Review

It was a week of plenty of highs and lows — and we're just talking about the temperature outside. 

Yes, we've received a cold blast of mid-March reality after Friday's almost-too-good to be true 74 degree high in Little Neck.

And though the wind again has a bit more chill to it, things are starting to heat up in our neighborhood.

Here's a rundown of the week that was in Little Neck:

Monday
Purim week kicks off with our coverage of celebrating one of the most joyous occasions on the Jewish calendar at the Samuel Field Y.

Along with the budding trees, sweet smell of new grass and warm breezes comes of coming spring.

Wednesday

In the run-up to St. John's appearance in the NCAA tournament's first round, of the school's Queens campus as they egged on the team — including injured player D.J. Kennedy.
