Jets hysteria caps an eventful period for northeast Queens

Short, four-day holiday weeks in January are not known for their major news events.
But the New York Jets commanding victory over the New England Patriots on the eve of Martin Luther King Day changed all that, with Gang Green excitement growing and growing — almost up to the last minute before this evening's big game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
So with the cheering on of our boys in green led by coach Rex Ryan in the background, here is your week in review, Little Neck. Go Jets!
