New Members Of Bayside and Douglaston Community Board Named

The board is also looking for a new district manager.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Bayside and Douglaston's community board 11 has named several new members who will represent locals.

Michael Budabin McQuown, an attorney who graduated of Columbia Law School, has lived in Bayside for nine years and is a member of Bayside Historical Society, Veterans of Foreign War and the P.S. 41’s parent-teacher association.

Elias Fillas has lived in Douglaston for more than 10 years. He is an attorney and provides legal counselling for the Chian Federation, an Astoria-based Greek community organization.

Ben Turner has lived in Bayside for six years and works as an associate professor at St. John's University Library. He is involved with the organizations Citizens for a Safer Utopia Parkway and Eastern Queens Greenway.

William Liao is a graduate of NYU Stern Business School and the London School of Economics. He has lived in Bayside Hills for 10 years and currently works at Queens Natural Meats.
