Patch Asks: How Do You Feel About 'Occupy Wall Street'?

Democracy in action, or directionless and overblown? You tell us.

The protest known as Occupy Wall Street has charged into its third week, and despite 700 arrests made over the weekend, appears only to be gaining momentum.

Satellite protests have started springing up in cities like Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. Celebrities like Mark Ruffalo and Roseanne Barr have voiced their support, and former Neutral Milk Hotel frontman Jeff Mangum played an impromptu show at Zuccotti Park Tuesday night.

More locally, students, faculty and staff at both Queens College and Queensborough Community College joined 75 schools across the country in a noontime walk-out as a show of solidarity for those camped out in lower Manhattan.

We want to know: What do you think of the protests at Wall Street? Do the protesters have a point in their attempt to punish Wall Street bankers for their monetary indiscretions? Or is the whole thing disorganized and lacking purpose? Tell us in the comments.
