Patch Picks: Super Bowl Edition

Even for those this weekend’s Jets-less Super Bowl remains the hot ticket at watering holes from Little Neck to Bayside, and almost everywhere in between.

Here’s a list of local venues serving up cold beer, hot eats and hopefully some empty seats to watch the big game:

For the biggest football game of the year, this N’awlins-themed Bayside bar is pulling out all the stops. The $45 admission (plus tax and gratuity) gets fans access to a full buffet, mixed drinks and beer and of course, the big game shown on an almost-as-big screen.

Area residents have been pulling up a bar stool at this  to watch the Jets, Giants and, dare I say, the Patriots all season. And more than 72 hours before the big game, there's no indication that they're going to stop with this weekend’s Super Bowl.

 No word yet on whether the Straw will be in attendance to root for either the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Green Bay Packers. But there's sure to be plenty of other fans keeping the seats warm at what has become the area's .
