Queens County Fair Returns This Weekend With Warhol-Inspired Maze
The festival, which runs from Friday through Sunday, includes an Andy Warhol-inspired cow maze, carnival games, local vendors, and more.

LITTLE NECK, QUEENS — One of Andy Warhol’s works is being created out of corn at a farm in Queens this weekend — a pop-art-esque reimagining that the artist himself would likely appreciate.
The cornfield rendition of Warhol’s “Cow” print is the Queens County Farm Museum’s latest Amazing Maize Maze, a three-acre labyrinth designed for the annual Queens County Fair, which this year will take place from Friday Sept. 10 through Sunday Sept. 12.
The festival, which was first held at the historic farm in 1693, has retained its old-fashioned charm — complete with corn husking contests, sack races, and opportunities to feed sheep and goats alike — with the addition of contemporary county fair favorites, like carnival rides and midway games.
