St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children will host a walk to support its patients on May 19 in Elmont.
The Bayside-based hospital's ninth annual Walk for St. Mary's Kids will begin at 10 a.m. at Elmont's Belmont Park.
Five patients from the hospital, which serves children with special needs of lift-limiting conditions, will act as the walk's grand marshals.
The event will include two different walks along the park's racetrack, including one that is 1.2 miles and another that is 2.5 miles.
Belmont Park is located at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike.
