Sunday Stroll To Turn Bayside Street Over To Pedestrians

The annual event brings music and stalls showcasing local businesses.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS – A neighborhood fair is closing part of Bayside to traffic this weekend as a street gets turned over to pedestrians.

Bell Boulevard between 39th and 41st avenues will be taken over by the annual Sunday Stroll Sept. 24. (For more Bayside stories, subscribe to Patch for daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)

The event includes food stands and live performances aimed at uniting the community and showcasing Bayside's local businesses. Music will be provided by bands including Chicken Head Rocks, Landing Approach and Poetic Thrust

The event, organized by the Bayside Village Bid, will be held from noon until 5 p.m., according to its Facebook page.
