A through the front window of the soon-to-open Silver Town Adult Day Care Center at 250-21 Northern Blvd. on Wednesday morning, causing quite the unexpected setback for the business, which was set to open Dec. 5. Neither the driver nor any of the center's employees were injured.
The city's Department of Transportation appears to be the culprit in , formerly located at the corner of Northern Boulevard and Douglaston Parkway. Evidently the stop was removed by mistake, and will be replaced in short order, said a spokesperson for the MTA.
