Bucking an upward trend, a gallon of regular gas at the Mobil station on Northern Boulevard and 244th Street actually cost 2 cents less than last week. However, that deal is for drivers carrying greenbacks only — with credit customers shelling out 6 cents more.
Like an increasing number of stations across the region, Mobil in the last week adopted a "two-tier" pricing system, with cash-paying customer generally saving a few cents at the expense of their debit and credit card carrying brethren.
