This Week in Little Neck Gas Prices

Chances are you've heard of the 'Butterfly Effect," as in "if a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil" there will be rain instead of sunshine in Abu Dhabi or Atlanta.

Well, when it comes to local gas prices, you can replace those butterflies with thousands of brick-throwing protestors, fighting government backed militia in places like Libya, Yemen and Bahrain.

Though we haven't seen big increases yet, due to continuing political unrest in the Middle East, expect the steady rise in gas prices to accelerate in the coming weeks.

Speaking locally, the BP on Horace Harding Expressway is the only area gas station to have prices unchanged from last week — again nabbing the title of Little Neck's Lowest Price-Per-Gallon at $3.43 for regular petrol.
