Here are the top three stories today in Buffalo:

  1. Buffalo police are investigating a shooting on Quincy Street. The shooting occurred around 4:20 p.m. Police found a 20-year-old man shot in the hand. After taking the victim to ECMC, he was pronounced in stable condition. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the tip line at (716) 847-2255. (WKBW 7 News Buffalo)
  2. An Amherst home found a buyer after just two days on the market. The six-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath should sell for $1.2 million dollars. The notable features of the home include multiple columns as well as direct water access. Sales like this beg the question of who is struggling in the housing market and who is thriving. (The Business Journals, Subscription)
  3. A man was found dead in a crashed vehicle in Buffalo on Wednesday morning. When officers responded to the 2:00 a.m. emergency call, they found the body. The Erie County Medical Examiners Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death and the incident is currently under investigation. (WIVB.com - News 4)
