Here are the top five stories today in Buffalo:

1. Erie County jails will be allowing in-person visits again starting Wednesday. Visits had been suspended due to a COVID-19 swell within the jails. The hours will resume in the same schedule as before the suspension. (The Buffalo News)
2. The building on Main Street that was set on fire at the start of the month is being demolished. Washington Street will be closed between Tupper and Goodell streets while the demolition occurs. (Spectrum Local News)
3. Buffalo Public Schools has announced an extra day off next month thanks to unused snow days. The district will now be closed on April 10. (WIVB 4)
4. A South Buffalo car accident this weekend resulted in a fatality on McKinley Parkway. The other driver involved in the incident is facing multiple injuries and waiting multiple charges at ECMC. (WGRZ 2)
5. Yesterday, the St. Patrick's Day Parade brought thousands out to downtown Buffalo. A community member told WKBW 7, "I think it's a great way to bring people together it just creates a sense of community." (WKBW 7)
