- To celebrate Black History Month, the Broadway Market is hosting vendors affiliated with Buy Black Buffalo every Saturday throughout February. The market is open from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. and these vendors sell an array of original products. Keep reading at WKBW 7.
- In response to Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest, various organizations have been increasing their CPR training and outreach. Local radio station, 103.3 The Edge, is among these organizations, having providing over 30 people with Red Cross training. Co-host Anthony Wise said, "anytime the community takes advantage of the moment to learn something to better themselves and the community around them I think is a great thing." - After facing December's extreme weather storm, both the School Board and the Common Council have stated that more collaboration between the two would benefit them both. In general, the two organizations have existed in different domains, and there is no doubt that a potential working relationship would come with complications of different districting and occasional conflict of interests. That said, Jennifer Mecozzi, third-term representative of the School Board's West District, states "anything that they deal with is relevant and resonates with our families, our students, our communities. - To get out of the house and see some of the outdoors, Mike Radomski, Chief Adventure Officer of Outside Chronicles, recommends dressing warmly and heading to one of our nearby nature preserves. Radomski encourages Buffalo locals to check out Tifft Nature Preserve, Reinstein Woods and Beaver Meadow to see winter wildlife and appreciate the snow. Read more at WGRZ 2.
- After hitting another vehicle while under intoxication, 26-year-old Tiarra Davis of Buffalo has been arrested. Along with intoxication, Davis endangered four children who were in the car with her. She allegedly was driving without a license. Learn more through WGRZ 2.
