- Buffalo police are investigating a shooting on Cornwall Avenue. The shooting occurred around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday. - Rent prices have spiked in Ridgeview Homes mobile home park after being purchased by Cook Properties. About half of the residents are seniors or disabled people on fixed incomes, who hoped the new owner would fix the drinking water, sewage in bathtubs, and pothole-filled roads. When residents launched a rent strike in May after three rent increases, Cook Properties sent out 30 eviction notices. (WIVB.com - News 4)
