- Nate McMurray, who announced his candidacy at the beginning of February, is dropping out of the race for Erie County Executive. This means current County Executive Mark Poloncarz is, for now, alone on the Democratic ticket. Chrissy Casilio has been endorsed by the Erie County GOP. (Spectrum News)
- The Buffalo VA Medical Center is hosting a career fair this Friday. The event will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in Room 301. Those interested should bring a resume, credentials and references. (Niagara Frontier Publications)
- James Parker or "Big Jim Parker" has been honored through a portrait at McKinley High School. Big Jim Parker attempted to save President McKinley's life during his assantiation, tacking the then president once shots were fired. This honor is a great conclusion to this year's Black History Month. (WKBW 7)
- Senator Chuck Schumer is asking for Kia to take action in response to car thefts. The Senator said that at the "bottom line, Kia, Hyundai can’t keep letting criminals on TikTok ride off into the sunset with innocent Buffalonians resident’s cars" and is demanding a security roll-out from the company. (WIVB 4)
- Buffalo is set to see more snow later this weekend, as another storm will hit Western New York this Friday. Snow will begin in the morning, similarly in intensity as the snow Buffalo saw on Monday, before turning to a rain and sleet mix by night. (WGRZ 2)
