- Local Evergreen Health is suing Medicaid over new overhaul policies. Mike Lee of Evergreen said,"We're talking about communities of color, LGBTQ people, people living with HIV, refugees and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who will be disproportionally impacted." - Erie County Office of Health Equity is holding its first Mental Health First Aid training on April 15. The training will occur at Johnnie B. Wiley Stadium and discuss the hardships Buffalo youth endure. (Niagara Frontier Publications)
- Buffalo's Central Library is resuming with normal hours, thanks to the help of the Peacemakers. The Peacemakers aren't security guards and are not bringing guns into the place, but rather are hoping to aid the teenagers that were causing trouble through mentorship programs. (WIVB 4)
- National Grid is giving $1.9 million in various grants locally. Among those receiving money is Westminster Economic Development Initiative, which will use the funds to rebuild the West Side Bazaar. (The Buffalo News)
- A fatal shooting occurred Sunday at the corner of Bailey Avenue and Delavan Avenue. A 52-year-old man was found dead around 6:15 PM. Police are currently investigating the incident. Read more at WIVB 4.
