1. In the culture of silence, former Erie County sergeant Robert M. Dee has been fired after a molestation lawsuit in 2019. Dee has pleaded not guilty to the accusations of forcible touch towards the woman, who is identified in the court as Jane Doe. Formerly, Dee was cleared by former sheriff Timothy B. 2. After an early lead, the Bills lost 20-17 during yesterday's game with the Jets. With the results of this game, the New England game, and the Miami game, the Bills remain with a half-game lead in the AFC East. To learn more, visit WKBW 7.
3. In the state assessments, 15% of Buffalo students in grades three through eight were proficient in math and 24% in English language arts. Proficiency is lowest in Black and Hispanic students; One of Superintendent Tonja Williams' immediate solutions is to work with families to learn how to make Expanded Learning Time more accessible. 5. Yesterday morning, a man was struck by a car on the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Lafayette Avenue. He was listed as in critical condition at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC). So far, no charges have been pressed. Learn more at WGRZ 2.
