Here are the top three stories today in Buffalo:

  1. Kaleida Health union workers have delivered a 10-day notice of their upcoming informational picket. The union workers did not extend their contracts at the end of July. They cite competitive wages and staffing levels as their main concerns. The committee is meeting five days a week in hopes of reaching an agreement. (WGRZ.com)
  2. Gas prices in the Buffalo area are nearly on par with New York's average. The Buffalo gas prices are still above four dollars a gallon. AAA says the national average price of gas has gone down by 15 cents to $4.06. The state average has dropped nine cents. (WIVB.com - News 4)
