Here are the top three stories today in Buffalo:

  1. Buffalo police have charged a 24-year-old man with murder following a shooting on Thatcher Avenue that occurred on Jul. 11. Jerome A. Cole allegedly shot and killed Marcus Cole on the morning of the 11th around 1:30 a.m. He was arrested Wednesday and was charged with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.   2. A state parole officer has been accused of planting evidence on a man in November 2020. Video body cam footage shows Parole Officer Eliezer Rosario allegedly placing Anthony Davis’s prison ID badge next to a .22 caliber bullet on their TV stand. Police were called and Davis was arrested for violating his parole. Davis is now working with his council to have the charges dropped after this footage was discovered. (WIVB.com - News 4)
