- Payton Gendron, the admitted murderer during the May 14th Massacre, will appear in federal court. He faces 27 federal charges and 10 counts of a hate crime resulting in death. Learn more at WIVB 4.
- The Buffalo Public Schools and Police Athletic League are partnering to host a "Critical Conversations" event Tuesday. The event will allow for public high school students to voice their opinions and concerns regarding the policing of their neighborhoods directly to officers. The officers will also have the chance to share their feelings. Visit WGRZ 2 to learn more.
- February 14 is the deadline to change voter registration prior to the June primaries. The deadline for general voting registration is June 17th. Read more at The Buffalo News.
- Buffalo Common Council has appointed 10 representatives to serve on an Affordable Housing Task Force. The task force will work to write policy recommendations to combat the issue of rising rent. Find out more about the task force and who is on it through The Buffalo News.
- FeedMore WNY, an organization fighting hunger, is requesting peanut butter in their Spread The Love drive. The drive is scheduled for February 18. In general, Betsy Campbell, the event coordinator for FeedMore, loves peanut butter as a donation since it has a good amount of protein and a long shelf-life. Learn more at WKBW 7.
