- Police are searching for missing a Tonawanda man: 56-year-old David C. Rasmussen. Rasmussen went missing Wednesday, wearing a brown short-sleeved shirt, khaki shorts, and a light-colored ball cap. He has severe PTSD and is believed to be in an altered mental state. Investigators believe he may be making his way to Fort Erie, just a short way from Buffalo. Keep your eyes peeled and call 1-800-346-3543 if you see Rasmussen. (WIVB.com - News 4)
- The Buffalo startup CrowFly has been shuttered by its principals after five years. John Bair, Tony Barnes, and Nita Bhatia created a marketplace for structured settlements, connecting people who want to sell their settlements with a supply of potential buyers. CrowFly was created in 2017 underSeventh Amendment Holdings and built a team of 15 employees. (The Business Journals)
- A Buffalo man purchased Windows 11 software from Best Buy in March, but says it was already used. Michael Norwood Sr. said the software was wrapped even though it wasn't out on display. Upon activating the software, a pop-up informed Norwood Sr. the product key had already been used. (WKBW 7 News Buffalo)
