- Over 100 educators, counselors, and community leaders gathered to have a conversation on mental health in students. “Unless you put people in a room and have a conversation about it, those networks don’t form just kind of on their own, so it’s important for us to bring people together," said Hamburg Superintendent Michael Cornell. Organizers plan to have more conversations soon. Learn more at WIVB 4.
- Joseph Chowaniec, 52, called Bocce Club Pizza and Southern Tier Brewing asking for free food in May 2022, saying "you can thank the Tops on Jefferson." The terroristic charges he was charged with have been dropped. Judge James Bargnesi, who dropped the charges, says "it is beyond a doubt that terrorism poses a significant threat to our security and that crimes intended to intimidate or coerce the civilian population must be prosecuted and punished. This is not one of those cases." Read more WGRZ 2.
- Buffalo nonprofit, The Priscilla Projects, is serving at-risk pregnant women to help create healthy birth outcomes. They are currently open for new volunteers. Learn more about the nonprofit and how to become a volunteer at WKBW 7.
- The owners of the historic Mulligan's Brick Bar are ready to sell it. The building is now 88 years old and has held a liquor license since the 1930s. During the Prohibition days, the building acted as a speakeasy. For more information, visit WGRZ 2.
- Missing teen, 17-year-old Kalueb Letts, has been reunited with his family. Cheektowaga police had previously asked for the public's help in locating him. Read more at WKBW 7.
