  1. Detectives are asking help identifying a person who was hit by a train on the tracks at Railroad Avenue in Farnham. The person was possibly wearing a blue fleece and yellow reflective vest. Learn more at WIVB 4.
  2. Mayor Byron Brown is launching a revaluation project in January. He hopes to have new property values reflected by the July 2025 tax season. Right now, Buffalo's equalization rate is 78%, which means 78% of houses are estimated to be assessed for market value. The city hopes to change that to 100% by 2025. This will only be reflective in tax bills if your property's assessment more than doubles. Read more at The Buffalo News.
  3. The mass shooter accused to have killed the ten people during the May 14th massacre's court appearance has been adjourned because of extreme weather. The shooter, Payton Gendron, plans to plead guilty to crimes that could earn him the death penalty. A new date has yet to be scheduled. For more information, visit WIVB 4.
  4. The travel ban has now expired in Orchard Park, but continues South Buffalo and Lackawanna, and Hamburg. Currently, the rest of Erie County is under travel advisory. Visit The Buffalo News to read more.
