Here are the top stories today in Buffalo:

1. Even with the snow storm, the Turkey Trot tradition will continue as scheduled on Thanksgiving Day. The communications director for the YMCA Buffalo Niagara,"We would like to thank the City of Buffalo, whose work around the clock to keep roads clean and safe, will allow us to continue this great Buffalo tradition." 2. The Erie County Department of Public Works has announced that cars towed during the travel ban are most likely waiting for their owners at the McKinley Mall. In addition to the many New York license plates, there are also Canada, Florida, and South Carolina plates in the lot. There is also a trailer. 3. Hofbräuhaus Buffalo's Christkindlmarkt, a traditional German Christmas market, is returning to the local collection of outdoor festivities this winter. The artisan market will be open the first three weekends of December and occurs downtown at 190 Scott Street. For more information, read StepOut Buffalo.
4. A new Gallup poll shows that support for stricter gun laws has fallen 9% since June. The current statistic shows 57% of U.S. adults in support. The stricter gun laws proposed, including stronger background checks for those under 21, were created in response to the Buffalo and Uvalde mass shootings. The poll's margin of error is plus or minus 4% and was conducted with 1,009 of U.S. adults. Read more WIVB 4.
5. This winter, M&T Bank is continuing its Gift of Warmth drive for the 37th year. All Western New York locations will be accepting winter clothing donations between now and January 6th.
