  1. As of Friday afternoon, Buffalo’s USPS handled and processed 1.2 million packages and over 5 million letters. The local USPS distributes for all of western New York, from the Pennsylvania border to Batavia. Even with the snow, they predict all holiday mail arriving timely. Learn more at WGRZ 2.
  2. A Buffalo teenager treated in a clinical trial for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma has been cancer free for six years. The kids treated in the trial have shown an 8% chance of the cancer reoccurring, a hopeful comparison from the 25% chance of other treatments. Read more at WGRZ 2.
  3. Snow covered Buffalo this weekend, making for a classic Bills game and hope for a White Christmas this holiday season. In interviews with The Buffalo News, many community members expressed joy at the manageable amount of snow, including Sydney Leshney, a manager of Overwinter Coffee, who commented "A green Christmas isn't magical."   4. A 35-year-old Niagara woman has allegedly used a stolen ID card to impersonate a victim and make medical decisions for that individual's husband at ECMC. The husband was on life support at the time. More about the case can be found at WIVB 4.
