A Father's Mission To Bring Home Purple Heart Medals To Families Of Airmen Killed In 2018: Three years has now passed and his son and the other airmen still have not received any decoration for making the ultimate sacrifice. John Raguso said with a new administration in place, he hopes a fresh set of eyes on the circumstances of the crash will allow the airmen to receive their rightful recognition. 2. Mitten Tree: Center Moriches Library is collecting new hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to give to people in need in our community. Please stop by our mitten tree located near the brick column by the Adult Reference Desk to place your donations. We will accept donations until Friday, Dec. 17. 3. Toys for Tots: The Center Moriches Library will again be hosting the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Look for the donation box in the entrance hallway place your donations of new, unwrapped toys in there to help make a child’s holiday a little brighter.
