2 Babies Found Dead Within Hours In Ditmas Park-Flatbush Area
The deaths are not believed to be related.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — The NYPD is investigating two cases of babies under a year old who were found dead in the Ditmas Park-Flatbush hour within hours of each other, police said.
Their first call came around 5:30 a.m. early Sunday morning. Officers rushed to a home on the corner of Ocean Avenue and Tennis court, police said.
There, they found 1-month-old Daniela Juste unconscious and unresponsive, according to police. She was taken to Kings County Hospital and pronounced dead.

Then, just before 9 a.m., officers were called to a home on Kenilworth Place, near Brooklyn College, police said.
Responders found 11-month-old Samuel Augustin unconscious and unresponsive, according to police. He was also taken to Kings County Hospital and pronounced dead.

The incidents are not believed to be related, and investigations are ongoing in each of them.
