Driver Arrested In Fatal East Flatbush Crash: Police
A driver has been arrested in a Saturday night crash that killed a Harlem man, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A man who was behind the wheel in a fatal crash that killed a Harlem motorcyclist over the Fourth of July weekend has been arrested, police said.
East Flatbush resident Tony Wallace, 29, faces criminal charges, including aggravated unlicensed operator of a motor vehicle, following the Saturday night crash, authorities said.
The crash unfolded just after midnight, when police claim that Wallace struck and killed Mamadou Oury Diallo, 34, who had been driving a Fengyuan motorcycle near the intersection of Clarendon Road and E. 35th Street in East Flatbush.

Detectives with the NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad believe Wallace was driving a 2019 Alfa Romeo eastbound on Clarendon Road when he collided with Diallo, who was heading westbound on the same street.
Police said that EMS rushed Diallo to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead by the hospital staff.

Following the crash, Wallace remained at the scene and was taken into custody, authorities said.
While no other arrests have been made, the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad continues to investigate the incident.
